camera iphone 8 plus apk Nikon CoolPix P900 on Sky-Watcher Allview

Mounted the P900 on the Sky-Watcher Allview telescope mount so I could more easily position the lens when taking pics of the moon and other objects. Obviously vibration is still transmitted to the camera thought the tripod mount, so I have to plan ahead to make sure I have the controller in hand before starting video. Would be nice if Nikon's wireless remote would trigger video, but apparently it does not, unfortunately.

I also apparently had the auto-focus set on the wrong setting, which I apparently figured out on the last clip in this series. I'm thinking maybe I just try a fixed manual focus sometime to see how that works out.

I do have to say that the Allview mount does make moving the focus point on the P900 on distant objects a LOT easier that doing it hand held or even just on a regular tripod. The Allview allows you to select 9 different motion speeds in the horizontal and vertical planes, and from what I can see there is no backlash at all to deal with.

And I don't know about you, but I REALLY like the image of the moon with that deep blue background.
